Why is eyebrow waxing so painful?

The first time I have it done the skin around got extremely red and puffy. A few months later (today) I had them done again. This time they also bled a bit. In fact, sometimes when I pluck the skin bleed. The woman who was doing them kept apologizing because my skin was reacting so harshly. She said she had never seen anyone bleed from it before. Why is my skin so sensitive? Should I never wax again? What other safer options are there? Why is eyebrow waxing so painful?
you could try threading or jus stick to pluckiing. Why is eyebrow waxing so painful?
sounds like she was using a resin wax witch is cheaper and typically used on boday parts where is skin is more tough and tolerant. you just need to go to a place that has a sensitive skin wax, depileve makes one...there is another one by the company amber i think...it has azulene in it. anyway, the best way to ask is by saying '; do u have a wax for sens. skin? im looking for a 'hard wax' that does not require a muslin strip to remove.'; be sure the waxer holds ur skin taught b4 ripping and presses on ur brow right after (thats when the blood rushes up). then follow with a light toner or witch hazel dabbed on the area, that stops bacteria and little bumps. good luck.
u might be allergic to wax, talk to ur doctor and ask y it happens.
get electrolosis done. You only have to do it once, and it's painless.
Well, the hair is being ripped out of your skin. That's normal for waxing because my friend has it done. Or, maybe try plucking them? Takes longer, but yeah, not so rough!
