What is the difference between eyebrow threading and eyebrow waxing?

waxing generally last between three and six weeks. Also, for most people, if you keep waxing regularly, your hair will actually start to grow back finer and lighter. You may have some swelling, tenderness, and redness for about twenty-four hours following your waxing. Eyebrow threading generally last between two and three weeks, and like waxing, the hair will generally grow back finer and lighter. There are no risks associated with threading 鈥?it is a very gentle hair removal method, and it is actually the best way to remove ingrown hairs. What is the difference between eyebrow threading and eyebrow waxing?
Waxing is applying a very warm wax to the hair on the brow, rubbing with a paper that adheres to the wax and then ripping it off. Some tweezing is still necessary to clean up stray hairs that don't stick, or for shaping. It is slightly painful, but quick!

Threading involves using a length of thread and friction to rub the brow clean of unwanted hair. I was very impressed with how much precision can be achieved by this method. It has been said that threading lasts longer. I recently tried the procedure for the first time. I am happy with the results, haven't experienced any ingrown hair (I have with waxing and tweezing) and the arch is nicely defined. Still, it was quite painful to me. It felt like being pricked with a needle while being cut with a hot knife at the same time. Just this side of unbearable. I guess you can get used to it, but I will go back to waxing next time. What is the difference between eyebrow threading and eyebrow waxing?
Eyebrow threading uses a thread, and then they just take the hairs off that way, im not sure about how they exactly do it, but it's painless compared to tweezing, and waxing.

Waxing your eyebrow involves hot way, and then they take a strip of cloth, and put the wax on, and rip it off, that is more painful than threading, but is so much faster.

Hope this helps, search up a video on youtube, if you're interested in threading ;]
waxing your eyebrows is using hot wax and paper on your eyebrows to create the shape that you want.

the hot wax is placed on the area of your eyebrow that's gotta go,

and the paper on top of that,

and it's ripped off,

along with that part that had to go.

threading is a much different technique.

it's similar to tweezing or plucking as they take their follicle out from the root by holding on to it...

but with threading,

an expert well... threads a string through the unwanted eyebrow hairs,

and then pulls them out that way.

supposedly, it's much less painful than waxing,

and faster than both plucking and waxing.

but i really couldn't tell ya !

hope that helped !
Waxing uses wax to rip off the hairs (obviously), and threading uses a length of twisted cotton to catch and pull out the hair. Threading requires a fair bit of skill, but it is a pretty impressive thing to watch when done by a professional. I got my eyebrows threaded a while ago...and it hurt like hell :o( Worked though!

well eyebrow waxing includes semi-hot wax on your eyebrows and then putting a white fabric on it and then pulling it. also the hot wax open up your pores so its acne prone. eyebrow threading is when they shape a piece of thread between fingers on both hands and pull your eyebrow hairs. it's really just like plucking. hope this helps (:
Threading is when someone takes a string of thread, twists it in a circle and pulls out your hairs. Waxing is putting on hot wax, a strip of cloth-like paper, and ripping it off. I've never tried threading becausse it looks like it takes more time than to just wax. Here's a video if you still dont understand :)

With waxing they put hot wax on your face, then they put a strip on it and then pull it off and it pulls off the hairs. With threading they use a thread to pull out hairs.
They use a twisting motion with thread, which doesn't cause as much irritation on the brow.

Waxing usually causes some swelling and redness for a day or two after the procedure.
threading is like plucking with thread. Washing is done with wax
